Tourist Attractions

Explore the Cave Temples of Dambulla. These temples located inside of 5 different caves date back to the 1st century BCE. They are home to many ancient artifacts and Buddhist statues. The temples are in the center of Sri Lanka, north of Kandy and south of Hamillewa.

Go to Udawalawe national park. There you can camp, or take a Safari tour and see wildlife such as elephants. The park is in southern Sri Lanka, north of Hambantota.

Hike the trail up Sri Lanka's tallest mountain, Pidurutalagala Peak. It is located south east of Kandy.

Explore Negombo. Negombo is a large Sri Lankan city with lots of stores and a beautiful beach. It is on the western shore.

Visit the big city of Colombo. You can explore the many street markets, the busy port and the beaches, you can also take a train ride through the very diverse city. It is on the south western shore.
